Strong Facts about WACEE
The Wacee Challenge
The Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana (AHK Ghana) is organizing an idea challenge dubbed, “WACEE Challenge” to encourage ideas on innovative approach in the West African energy and environmental ecosystems. This is a prelude to launch the new concept of the West African Clean Energy & Environment Exhibition & Conference (WACEE 2019), branded: “WACEE goes greener!”, which will take place from 6th –8th November 2019 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC). The challenge consists of two phases, with each phase tailored to increase participation around West Africa. At the first submission phase, very limited amount of information is required, making it quick and easy to share. The qualifying participants for the second phase will be asked to submit once more a brief, but more in-depth information.
We are looking for ground-breaking ideas and strategies to create a sustainable West African energy and environmental ecosystems. This initiative is in line with the theme of the 2019 United Nations Environment Assembly “Innovative Solutions for Environmental Challenges and Sustainable Consumption and Production”.
